As the first designer for OnePlus in North America, I played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the creative team. My responsibilities spanned across various design needs, including social media designs and ideation, e-commerce layouts for the OnePlus website and partner platforms, and creating in-person and digital event designs for multiple phone launches. I also managed photo and video shoots for campaigns and mentored junior designers.
Collaborating closely with third-party partners and brands such as Google, Facebook, Fortnite, PUBG, Verizon, and McLaren, I ensured cohesive and impactful designs. Through the collective efforts of the NA design team, OnePlus swiftly rose to become the third most popular smartphone brand in the region, trailing only Apple and Samsung within just two years.
